An engine intake valve is a key component of an internal combustion engine. It is located in the cylinder head and controls the entry of the air-fuel mixture into the combustion chamber. The valve opens at a precise moment in the engine cycle, allowing the correct amount of air (or air-fuel mixture) to enter the combustion chamber. It then closes tightly to seal the chamber so combustion can occur efficiently.

• Engine Misfires: A faulty valve may not seal properly, causing incomplete combustion. You may notice jerking, rough idle, or hesitation when accelerating.
• Loss of Power & Poor Acceleration: If the air-fuel mixture cannot enter efficiently, the engine produces less power. The car may feel sluggish or struggle on inclines.
• Backfiring or Popping Sounds: Improper sealing can cause fuel-air mixture to ignite in the intake manifold. This creates popping sounds during acceleration or deceleration.
