An Instrument Panel Air Duct is a plastic or composite channel located behind the dashboard that directs conditioned air (from the HVAC system) to the vents on the instrument panel. It ensures that heating, ventilation, and air conditioning are properly distributed to the driver and passengers through the dashboard outlets.

• Weak or no airflow from dashboard vents – air leaks before reaching the outlets.
• Uneven airflow – stronger on some vents but weak or absent on others.
• Whistling or rattling noises – from air escaping through cracks or loose duct joints.
