Used for inserting spark plugs into spark plug tubes

This basic tool slips over the end of the spark plug and holds onto it while you drop it down the spark plug tube. This tool can also be used for hand threading spark plugs into the cylinder head. A great tool for preventing unwanted spark plug gap changes.

Makes Spark Plug Install Easy & Painless
This is rather expensive for what's essentially a bit of rubber hose. But it fits the plugs perfectly and there's no way you'll strip or cross thread the spark plugs in the cylinder head while you use this to tighten them by hand. So you can install the new plugs with total peace of mind. The tool even has a narrow end that fits nicely down the narrow spark plug tubes of engines like BMW's N55.

The products on this page are of good quality, unfortunately I got this piece of broken hose. I bought it because I saw it had very good reviews, but this piece of hose is useless. I bought a complete package for my wife's BMW, 228i everything arrived in very good condition except for this piece of hose that was broken.

unexepected must have
Bought it on a whim and what an amazing tool it is that I wish I had it sooner! Tried to find a knock off because I want another at a lower price but there's nothing out there like it. It's made of high quality heavy rubber where one end fits 12-14mm and the other end for larger. I was able to tighten the spark plugs easily all the way down just using this before finishing with a wrench. You will not regret this purchase.

Simple but handy tool
Was doing a tune up on my F30 today and was really glad I had this tool in hand. Really made installing the spark plugs easy and simple. Tight snug fit when putting the spark plug inside and dropping it into place. Would recommend everyone get themselves one.

Spark Plug Install Tool
The stiff rubber like tool worked as advertised on my 2014 335i to install OEM spark plugs before applying torque from a wrench. The tool gripped the spark plugs super well; I did not worry about the plugs falling out of the tool. I would recommend to anyone considering changing their spark plugs in a BMW to avoid potential damage to threads or dropping the plugs.

Made inserting plugs fun and painless
Yes, it is a bit of a luxury for something I do every 5 years and could certainly do with a rubber hose or my spark plug socket, but it works awesome!

This can be used on a B58 engine without problem. Simple matter of the application guide not being completely up to date. Has now been changed to "fits all BMW cars" as a BMW universal tool.
