So Far So Good

I bought these at a great discount from FCP. Considering that the OEM versions easily cost $45-$55 EACH, it is massive savings to go with these FCP generics. I did a decent amount of research online before purchasing these. I am normally someone who will pay a little extra for Genuine BMW, especially on a well kept BMW. Having seen that there have been no reports of malfunction from long term usage, I bought a set hoping to fix the bogging/hesitation problems on a 92 325i. These coils instantly fixed the problem, although the idle is a little buzzy now hich I suspect is from the dirty ICV. Before installation, I did check the resistance of the primary coils on all 6 new and old, and all of them fell easily within specs (.4-.5 ohms) Also, you will notice some grease at the coil boot ends, which is probably some dielectric grease so don't worry about it. Lastly, ake sure to ask FCPEuro to match the much lower price at their sister site, FCPGroton.com, as the prices should be the same but they are currently not.

Some of the reviewers above may have been rewarded for their positive & negative reviews. We don't hold anything back.
