it wont let me change or remove my other review, these are fine, it was the cheap optimal branded ones that are garbage. the optimal ones are just junk. dont buy them.

hub diameter too large
as one other person said, the lip where the inside of the wheel fits on it too large. you have to hold the wheel on and jam the lugs down with an impact gun to get the wheel on and forget about taking the wheel off, it wont come back off with out spending time wiggling and kicking it. this is ridiculous. wheel should slide on and off like butter as it is supposed to. junk.

hub had to be sanded
the bearing its self is fine, but the outer rim/hub had to be sanded because the rim wouldnt fit on it. i tried a factory 16" wheel, an 18" m par and a 20" style 101-all factory bmw rims and none would fit without jamming the rim on and hammering the lugs on with an impact. it had to be sanded down for the rim to fit. nothing more than poor quality control.

What can I say
What can I say? It's a FAG, it gets the job done!

Correct parts means more reliability
Whenever I get parts which are critical to the operation of the vehicle, I always like to get a part I can trust. FAG is one of the top bearing companies along with SKF and Timken. This part is critical to your wheels staying on the car under hard performance driving. It also acts with the ABS and other systems to work properly. It is insane to me to cut corners on parts like these. I bought this part from FAG because I did not want to save a few bucks and get an inferior part which can even be dangerous. A great part that has performed flawlessly at low speeds and high. I can only say good things about FAG bearings and parts.

Question Posted by Nikolas
Based on other reviews, it seems these had issues that prevent the wheel from being mounted easily. Do you know if this is still a problem? Could you compare the BMW and FAG one?
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
We have not received any recent claims regarding issues on this item. This item would be equivalent to the BMW part, being the OE alternative.
