High Performance Street disc brake pads are legendary for increasing stopping power on street-legal vehicles, and increasing the performance of your vehicle's braking system is easy when you choose Hawk Performance Street HPS braking compound. The High Performance Street compound offers a higher coefficient of friction over stock brake pads, and can provide you 20-40% more stopping power and higher resistance to brake fade than most standard replacement pads. Less fade means you will have better pedal feel and more consistent performance in a durable brake pad that generates less dust.

  • All Hawk Performance compounds are not compatible with carbon ceramic rotors. Hawk pads are designed to work with Iron/Metal rotors.

Bed in procedure:
1. To break in the new components, make 6 to 10 stops from approximately 30 to 35 MPH applying moderate pressure.
2. Make an additional 2 to 3 hard stops from approximately 40 to 45 MPH.
3. DO NOT DRAG BRAKES!
4. Allow 15 minutes for brake system to cool down.
5. Your brakes are now ready for use and can be driven normally.

Brake pads are suggested to be checked frequently during oil changes or routine services for wear to ensure you have at least the minimum pad thickness as stated by the car manufacturer.

Awesome pads for my 135i Swapped out beat stock rotors with Zimmerman dimpled/slotted (also great but as others have mentioned rotors do make a noticeable tsk, tsk, tsk sound at speed when driving on highway next to divider for example) But back to the hawk hps pads, really nice bite, no squeak, have few hundred miles on so far and zero noticeable dust compared to stock which would essentially powder coat rims black with dust in the same time period

Fantastic upgrade
I paired these pads with my daily driver and fresh set of Zimmermann 34116786392 rotors. I have done close to 1000 miles, and found the pair have performed great, in both performance for braking and leaving minimal dust for a performance oriented pad and rotor combo.

BMW HPS Brake Pad Set -- Hawk HB603F.616
I have about 2000 miles on these Hawk Brake Pads, and I love 'em. I love two things about 'em. First, they have a great pedal-feel for confident stops. Second, low, low, low, brake dust. I wash my cars, myself. With my previous pads, I couldn't go a week without the front wheel getting so dirty I could write my name on the wheels. These Hawk pads were advertised as low-dusk but I didn't believe it. I bought the pads because I heard good things about 'em. I haven't washed my car in a month and the front wheels still look okay, they are no dirtier than the rears. I still can't believe it. I could recommend buying Hawk Pads just for the low brake dust alone. As for the brake squeal, what squeal ??? They're quiet as a church-mouse, truly a premium pair of pads...highly recommended.
