A headrest is the padded support attached to the top of a car seat, designed to support the occupant’s head and neck. Its main purpose is to reduce whiplash injuries in rear-end collisions by limiting the backward movement of the head.
Headrest Failure Symptoms- Loose or Wobbly Headrest: The headrest doesn’t stay firmly in position or moves unexpectedly.
- Inability to Adjust Height or Angle: Adjustment mechanisms may become stuck, broken, or worn out.
- Cracked or Torn Upholstery: Visible damage to the fabric, leather, or padding.
