Product Information
Headlights are a critical component that ensures your ability to see as well as be seen by others while driving in poor conditions. Over the course of tens of thousands of miles headlight lenses can become cloudy or pitted from constant bombardment from road debris. In addition, components inside the headlight can wear out causing poor performance.
If your BMW's headlight assemblies are in rough shape then this OE replacement from Hella will fit the bill and restore your vehicles lighting performance and looks back to factory condition.
Please note: Xenon headlight does not include electronic components, xenon bulbs, turn signal insert, covers, LED module, headlight control module.
Most US market cars after 1984 transitioned from sealed beam headlights to headlight assemblies. A headlight assembly generally consists of a headlight housing, lens, mounts, adjusting units, and a reflector. While some Halogen headlight assemblies may come with bulbs, most HID headlight assemblies do not include bulbs or other electrical units, making it important to check to see what is included before ordering. A good condition headlight assembly is important for both night time visibility as well as good vehicle aesthetics.
Headlight Assembly Failure Symptoms- Cracked, delaminating, or damaged lens: The headlight assembly is mounted at the most vulnerable spot on the car. If it becomes broken or damaged by road debris, it should be replaced.
- Condensation: Moisture or condensation inside the headlight assembly indicates a failing seal or crack in the housing.
- Headlight Alignment Issues: If the headlight assembly is damaged, misaligned, or loose, the headlights may not properly focus the light on the road, causing poor visibility.

Same as OEM headlight. Comes with everything needed
Ordered this part for my 2014 535i, which had the notorious condensation issue due to bad seals that developed somewhere. Since Hella makes the OEM BMW assembly, I bought this one to save a few bucks and forego the BMW markings. Well, the first assembly arrived, missing the rear panel and seal. We tried to salvage things by reusing the OEM rear panel. Nope, this one leaked/had condensation, so I took it back to have it removed. Sent it back. The next one that came, the box clearly looked like it had been opened and returned. The assembly inside not only had chewed up/stripped plastic around a screw hole but also had some random fuse loose inside the assembly and visible behind the clear lens (???!!!?!?!). This is now the THIRD time I made arrangements to drop my car off at my shop. Contacted FCP Euro. I asked for some sort of help/compensation due to all the issues and repeated body shop visits; maybe send me an OEM assembly for my trouble? NOOOOOOPE. Nothing but stating they will send yet ANOTHER Hella, but will add a note to double check it for Quality Control. Once this debacle is done, I doubt I will be back to FCP Euro. The second assembly was clearly used, and I now suspect the first one was also used. Shady!!!
Was very happy to find this website and OEM products for my 535D. Dealer wanted $2000 for the light assembly and I got it here for half that price. Bavaria Auto in Fredericksburg, VA reassembled the remarkably complicated headlight system, replacing an additional HID Headlight Control module ($616) and had me back on the road for about what the OEM assembly alone would have cost me at the dealer. Very pleased! That was 4 months ago and all is working well.
