Great Fit

OEM Replacement for the left side of my 2006 BMW 325i e90's fuel tank sending unit. After 10+ years the left fuel sending unit had developed cracks on the very top (the bulbous/dome shaped part) of the plastic piece. I tried covering it up with epoxy but fuel kept seeping out. I made sure this was the exact piece that was leaking gas to replace before placing my order; most people don't even know there is more than just the "fuel pump" in the car. To replace the whole thing you have to take apart the fuel pump on the right side of the car to reconnect the hoses which come with this set from the left side. The hoses snake through the fuel tank through a narrow middle part of the tank; make sure you have tied up the ends of the hoses with a zip-tie to make the maneuvering of the hoses much easier. Be careful when handling the fuel pump if you're not replacing the whole system; that's gonna cost you another visit to FCPeuro. Hardest part is taking apart pieces which haven't been touched in 10+ years, and making sure the gas does not get contaminated with anything, or worse anything being lit while working with highly dangerous gasoline.
