The hangers are typically made of rubber or rubberized metal components, which provide flexibility and dampen the vibrations from the engine and exhaust system.

• Excessive Vibration or Noise: A broken or damaged hanger may allow the exhaust system to move excessively, resulting in vibrations that can be felt inside the car, particularly from the floorboard or seats. You might hear clunking or rattling noises, especially when accelerating, going over bumps, or driving on rough roads.
• Exhaust Pipe Misalignment: The exhaust components may shift or misalign, which can affect the performance of the system and lead to damage over time.
