My mechanic tells me the harness must be specific to a 2003 manual car. He states that not only were there changes made from year to year, but that a harness from an automatic car will not work. He's had experience with transmission swaps. When replacing an automatic with a manual gearbox--the engine would not run until he replace the engine harness with one from a manual car. Please advise.
