Product Information
Used for installing the A/C compressor belt on the N62 engine without belt tensioner
This special BMW tool is used for installing serpentine belts for A/C compressors on N62 engines that are not equipped with automatic belt tensioners. Some N62 powered cars require you to stretch the belt onto the A/C compressor and crank pulleys while other vehicles have a tensioner. If your N62 powered BMW does not have a tensioner for the A/C belt you will need this tool.

This is a must have and the cheaper one works but I'd get the OEM tool if I was planning on doing a bunch of these. I have a video on how it worked. My YouTube channel is: bobeaseshop Thank You
Tool works and very simple to use. First, ac belt on the crank pulley, then with tool on ac belt compressor pulley and turn the crank.
Works like a champ after a couple of youtube videos.
I bought this for my mechanic, after we discussed the AC belt job for my N62B44 545i. I sourced it with a Conti belt. Needless to say he was a happy man, the tool made light work of a difficult job (without the proper tool). Recommended.
A great must-have tool when installing a belt makes life easier.
This is a must for n62 v8 found in 545/550/650/750i if you’re changing ac belt. It made changing the belt a breeze. You just need crank the engine clockwise with 27mm or 1 1/16 inch socket.
Ended up giving the tool to my mechanic and he stated it was way better than the one he had. Well made
Well built and always a pleasure to deal with FCP.
