A disc brake pad retaining clip (also known as a brake pad retaining spring or anti-rattle clip) is a small metal component that helps secure the brake pads in place within the brake caliper assembly. In addition to reducing brake noise, the clip also helps ensure even pad wear and consistent brake performance.
