BMW Differential Fluid Extractor Adapter - FCP Euro B3300000

Car had 45k mi. figured to do this service. This connected right to my extractor, and 100% pulls that fluid immediately. Perfect angle. Got 750ml out. Put 750ml right back in. It is needed for sure.

Tried to use it with the CTA hand pump/extrator for rear differential service since i didnt have a drain plug. Thought this would fit right on the end, but it doesn't and had to use my hand to make an average seal to get most of the fluid out, made a mess. Its a neat and good tool to have to get fluid out, worth it in that regards.

Tried to do a diff fluid myself without this and it didn’t go as planned. Ordered this, drove the car around the neighborhood for a few mins, then it extracted the fluid with ease. Couldn’t have done it without this neat tool.

I hooked this up to the West Marine fluid extraction pump to this and removed all the diff fluid in about a minute. Wish we just got a real drain plug but oh well.

Super helpful for the rear diff job on my 4 series.

This was the perfect adapter to drain the rear differential fluid. Also used to fill my transmission with new fluid.

Tool will work good for an E90 but not on an E85 --- not enough room to get the tube into place.

Yeah, it's just a bent tube with rubber hose but it's definitely worth it. Extracting fluid from the rear differential was super easy. I got about 700mL out of it.

Given x-bracing on the F31 wagon there wasn't enough clearance to make this part fit. I ended up needing to heat/bend some sprinkler line which I used for the same pupose. In general the quality seems good, just didn't work for my application.

Being an ardent DIY enthusiast and BMW owner, I'm always on the lookout for tools that make my maintenance endeavors easier. Recently, I stumbled upon this modestly priced tool crafted specifically for extracting old differential fluid from modern BMW rear diffs. Like many, I have struggled with the notorious differential angle that often leads us to resort to ineffective measures like bending a plastic tube or fishing a hose into the differential. However, the uniqueness of this tool is its tailor-made design that addresses these issues head-on. Unlike your average suction hose, this tool is cleverly designed to bend down directly into the differential, even in the absence of a drain hole. The task of replacing differential fluid which once seemed daunting, is now effortless. No more fumbling around with a hose in tight spots, hoping it reaches the bottom of the differential pan. As other reviewers have noted, using this tool is not only simple, it's also effective. In contrast to the hit-or-miss approach of a flexible hose, the solid pipe design of this tool guarantees the extraction of virtually all of the old fluid. No more worrying about whether you've fully emptied your rear differential. Despite its simplicity - essentially, a piece of bent tubing - the effectiveness and practicality of this tool significantly outweighs its cost. In fact, using this tool has saved me numerous trips to the hardware store for makeshift adapters and tubing. Plus, its versatility extends beyond differential fluid replacement, also aiding in servicing the transmission and other tightly spaced areas. In summary, I highly recommend this tool to all BMW owners and DIY enthusiasts alike. Its clever design, affordability, and effectiveness make fluid replacements straightforward and efficient. It's proof that sometimes, the best solution for a complex problem is surprisingly simple. And in this case, that solution doesn't have to leave a dent in your wallet.
