Product Information
As your vehicle accrues mileage, the axles develop place causing irregular movements in your vehicle's suspension. Maintain your vehicle's drivability with this OE axle shaft.
A CV (Constant Velocity) axle shaft is a key drivetrain component that transfers power from the transmission or differential to the wheels while accommodating steering angles and suspension movement. It uses CV joints at both ends to deliver smooth, consistent torque, even during turns or over uneven road surfaces. A healthy CV axle ensures efficient power delivery, stable handling, and reduced drivetrain vibration.
CV Axle Shaft Failure Symptoms- Clicking or popping noises when turning, often from worn CV joints.
- Grease leakage around the CV boot, indicating a torn or damaged boot.
- Excessive vibration during acceleration, caused by a failing or imbalanced axle shaft.

Bought this part, boot failed in less than 2 years. Failed within factory warranty gurantee from GKN. FCP told me to order a new one and I have to loose out on the difference even though it was under factory. Or reach out to GKN. Who never got back to me.
Very disappointing with FCP and GKN postpurchase support.
Did not fit my car at all
Thanks for fast shipping! Highly recommended!
Replaced both front axles with these aftermarket ones because they were much cheaper than OEM. Worked great at first but after 1 year and 10-15k miles they started making a metal on metal clicking/rubbing sound when turning. Ended up having to pay for OEM parts even though they were considerably more than these. Wouldn't recommend unless you can find better aftermarket axles or can find OEM for cheap.
The part fits perfectly ad it's been holding up for about 4 months now.

Has there been any complaints about this OE Replacement Axle being too short?
I purchased a CV Axle from my local parts store (bad idea), turns out the axle is 1/2” too short and would pull itself out of the front differential while driving. Obviously that’s not good… I hope y’all have my back!
Answer

This axle is 901mm in length

Question

Does the axle come with the bolt?
Answer
(Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
No, the axle bolt is not included. Please see p/n 31206795249 for the axle bolt.
Question

I saw that people were saying the boot wasn't long enough and would try to pull the axle out. Is this true?
Answer
(Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
Have not seen or heard of that issue. When installed correctly there is no way for the rubber boot to pull the axle out of the differential and certainly no way for the hub interface to lose contact with the wheel hub when the bolt is properly installed/torqued.
