Mini Sunvisor diagram for Cooper Paceman, Cooper Countryman

The sun visor holder is a small but essential interior trim component that secures the sun visor in place when not in use. Typically mounted to the headliner or roof structure, it ensures the visor remains stable and easily accessible for blocking glare. Constructed from durable plastic or composite material, the holder prevents rattling, enhances cabin fit-and-finish, and contributes to overall driver comfort and safety.

• Loose or broken holder – visor no longer stays clipped in place, causing it to hang or drop unexpectedly.
• Cracks or visible wear – reduces grip strength and leads to premature failure.
• Rattling or vibration noises – caused by a weakened or ill-fitting holder during vehicle operation.

About Genuine Mini

The original parts used by Mini to build your car are available as replacement parts under the “Genuine Mini” brand. Manufactured under the direction of Mini, expect excellent quality and a premium price since these parts are exclusively available through the Mini Dealership network.

You may not realize this, but the parts that make up your Mini are not necessarily manufactured by Mini. No cause for concern, as Mini designs the part, hires a manufacturer, and ensures its quality to you. In fact, many of these manufacturers have been making parts for Mini for decades. In our industry these manufacturers are called OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers), and these are often brands you recognize, including Lemforder, ZF, Sachs, Bosch, Valeo, Zimmermann, Siemens VDO, Corteco, and more. Don’t be surprised to open that Genuine Mini parts box and find an OEM branded part inside, simply with the addition of a Mini logo.

Be sure to keep an eye out for OE tags on our product pages to quickly identify parts coming direct from OE manufacturers. That extra bit of insight could save you some serious money while shopping! Refer to our OE Academy for further information regarding the OE/OEM tags throughout the site.
