Took me a few minutes to get a seal, maybe this will help someone. The loose gasket with this kit is placed in the fill opening of the expansion tank- then you twist on the adaptor and creates a good seal.
Does fit 2009 X3, 2005-2006 X5 4.4i models. Not sure what else it doesn't fit.
Quality looked good though.
Doesn't fit a 96 Z3 with the M44 engine, although the site said it would fit. It looks like a quality part, but not for me.
Worked perfectly on 2008 bmw 335i.

Yes, this adapter will fit the engine-coolant expansion tank on an F30 BMW 340i. It threads onto the main coolant reservoir and connects to the CTA 7050 pressure tester or another compatible pressure-testing system; it is not intended for the separate low-temperature charge-air cooling circuit reservoir.

Yes thank you it says it fits BMW but I have a mini Cooper Cooper 2008 I’ve been trying to find an adapter and it is considered a BMW I guess I was wondering if it fit and I have a stant pressure checker and I think that’s what I need. Is that adapter tool?

This is used for the main engine cooling circuit. It is not used on the turbocharger heat exchanger circuit.

2011 550i v8 twin turbo. It doesnt have a radiator cap so i been looking for a adpater of the expansion tank cap

Yes. This will go onto the expansion tank. BMW does not utilize radiator caps in the traditional sense.
