Hose is about half an inch short.
This hose is about 1/5" short comparing to BMW 535i E60 original hose. However, I made it work but I wish it is the same lenght as the BMW geniune.

YOU MUST USE THE SPRING CLIP
DONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID. When i first put this on i didn’t use the spring clamp and opted to use a worm clamp similar to the one that goes on the other end of this hose because i couldn’t get the spring clamp on, there is so little room. I tightened it very tight and it started leaking months later! I re tightened it and still leaked! I ended up having to take a bunch of stuff off and put the spring clamp on instead even though it was difficult and now its not leaking.

Worked.
Fixed the leak. You will need a snap ring tension tool or to modify a pair of needle nose vice grips to have vertical pockets in the tip with a dremel like I did. You will figure it out after winging your finger with the spring and the un-modified vice grip ;)

BMW Coolant Feed Repair Kit
Really nice solution to trying to replace the metal section also. The thermostat and electric water pump replacement on my 535xi was not overly difficult but it was an uncomfortable job due to space restrictions. My hands are pretty sore even though I am a frequent mechanic.
