Product Information

The BC Racing BR series coilover kits are designed for street driven vehicles that may see some track time. BC Racing uses pillowball mounts instead of the OE design strut and shock mounts for maximum steering and road feel. Your BMW will have a firmer ride over stock components but will not be uncomfortable. In addition, BC Racing BR series coilovers allow you to adjust damping to your liking with the adjustment knobs that sit atop the dampers. The BC Racing BR series coilovers are perfect for the performance enthusiast who demands the most performance possible without breaking the bank. Your BMW will be just as home daily driving to and from work as it will be on the track with these BR series coilover installed.

Unlike other manufactures which typically require you to send back worn or failed parts for a rebuild and warranty inspection, BC Racing has all the components which comprise their coilover kits available for individual sale outside the one year warranty.

This gives you the opportunity to replace worn components on your own time schedule with little to no vehicle down time and also gives you the unique opportunity to upgrade your coilover kit to a higher level kit if you so choose. You do not have to send back any worn components to BC Racing for rebuild.

  • 53mm Dampers (larger then the competition)
  • Fixed Cup/Locking Collar Design
  • Full pillowball mounts in the front & rear (where applicable)
  • Rubber inserts built in to keep the noise at a minimum.
  • 30 levels of damping adjustment (compression/rebound)
  • Separate height adjustment
  • Adjustment knob clicks at each position so you know where you're at

Spring rates:
Front: 7K s barrel springs
Rear: 14K linear springs

Note: If your M3 is equipped with EDC you will loose EDC functionality. To prevent EDC failure warnings you will need to code EDC off or install a delete module. For vehicles with EDC you will also need to replace the rear upper shock mount bushings, FCP Euro recommends kit p/n 907984 which are higher density and more durable than OE mounts and will convert from the EDC shock M14 thread size to the non EDC M10 size. For vehicles without EDC FCP Euro also recommends ordering this rear shock mount kit.

It's an okay kit, if i could do it over again I would've just went with lowering springs

If i want to change these spring rates with BC springs, would that be an extra charge? Also i have an e93 cabrio will these specific coils fit my rear?

Spring rate changes with standard BC Racing springs are free but will delay the coilover kit from shipping up until two weeks. Spring rate changes must be completed by contacting customer service@fcpeuro.com This coilover kit fits all 2008-2013 E9X M3's regardless of body type. Please note that if the vehicle is equipped with EDC you will need to change the rear shock mounts to the M10 size shock mounts. We have a link in the bottom of the description with those details.
