BMW did a major favor for those who have factory carbon ceramic-equipped F80 M3's, F82/F83 M4's, and F87 M2 CS cars in the respect that the same calipers and braking components (minus the carbon ceramic pads and rotors) can be found as optional equipment on F87 M2's with the optional M sport brakes.
Because all other aspects of the braking system are the same such as the calipers, hydraulics, and ABS you can simply swap the rotors from the M sport brake equipped M2's and install those on your M cars with factory-equipped carbon ceramic brakes. Not only will this save you several thousand dollars it is also the preferred option for cars that see track use/duty due to lower maintenance costs and a wider array of brake pad options.
When looking to service the brake system of your vehicle, a brake kit is the best option of choice. Brake kits take the guesswork out of which components are needed for the repair as they include everything needed to perform the job.
