Camshaft timing sprocket for the exhaust camshaft, also known as a variable valve timing sprocket

This cam sprocket is unique in the fact that it is also a variable timing sprocket as well. It has internal mechanisms that adjust the position of the sprocket to adjust the cam timing of the engine.

The Engine Timing Camshaft gears are a cogs that that synch your camshafts timing with the other timing components. There is one gear per camshaft on your vehicle.
