Tail Light Bulb

A tail light assembly is the housing and all associated components of a vehicle’s rear lighting system. It typically includes the tail light lens, bulbs (for tail lights, brake lights, reverse lights, and turn signals), as well as reflectors. The tail light assembly is essential for ensuring that other drivers can see your vehicle from behind, especially in low-visibility conditions, and for communicating your driving intentions such as braking or turning.

Tail Light Bulb Failure Symptoms
  • Cracked or Damaged Lens: Physical damage to the tail light assembly can allow moisture or dirt to enter, leading to bulb failure or corrosion in the wiring. If the lens is cracked or broken, it should be replaced to prevent further damage.

Does this come with the contacts or part that connects it to the wire as well? My wires broke from the contacts, but the socket is fine...

Not sure what you are referring to by wires. This sits inside the bulb carrier which is a circuit board essentially. There are no wires associated with this bulb socket. Please email service@fcpeuro.com with pictures of the issue so we can assist you further.

The tail light on a Z4 has a metal circuit board which supplies power to the bulb socket. What it sounds like you are looking for is the 6 pin connector that connects to the tail light assembly and corresponding leads. The connector is p/n 61136984758. You will then need x4 61138364832 wiring lead, x1 61138364834 wiring lead, and x1 61138377162 wiring lead to go with the connector.
