BMW Brake Pad Set - Textar 2193402

Textar brake pads are precision engineered to offer maximum safety, performance and comfort. Textar develops, manufactures and tests all their braking components in house. This ensures maximum quality in every product and to make sure they meet the highest standards. This is why Textar is an OE supplier to the BMW Group for many applications from the factory. Textar brake pads are tailored to the vehicle. Each friction formulation in a Textar brake pad can contain up to 43 different ingredients that are specified for the specific intended application. This is critical in many modern vehicles with various energy recovery/deployment systemt where quiet braking is an important comfort feature. Textar has a dedicated Noise Vibration Harshness team, working with specially developed analytical and simulation tools in relentless pursuit of the ultimate braking comfort.

Every Textar brake pad set goes through rigorous testing with 1000+ hours of brake dyno testing, 300,000+ km driven, and 451 test vehicles driving 3 million km annually. This commitment to testing is part of the commitment to quality that makes Textar a go to brand for European car braking system components at both the factory and repair level.

Textar brake pad sets utilize their patented "Q+ damping shim" as an essential factor in delivering optimum braking comfort. It prevents direct contact between brake piston and the backing plate during braking acting to reduce the vibrations and high frequency noise that can result when braking. As a result of an extensive development and testing program, the Textar Q+ shim has a unique textile composition and is designed to offer outstanding dampening and decoupling properties, providing significantly enhanced braking comfort. Featuring high quality embossed branding, the shims are instantly recognisable, with a reassuringly premium look and feel.
