325x25mm, drilled replacement rotor

Brake rotors by their very nature are intended to wear down. There are many indicating factors which determine brake rotor replacement. One of the best ways to tell that your brake rotors are worn out and need replacement is if you have severe pulsating under high speed braking. This pulsating is due to the rotor surface being warped from wear. If you are experiencing this we recommend replacing your rotors as soon as possible.

Z-Coated rotors from Zimmermann feature a durable zinc coating which is baked on at high temperatures. This process makes the surface of the rotor repel water, dirt, and road grime preventing rusting and corrosion.

Install note: Do not clean the surface of the rotor with brake cleaner before installation. It will damage the protective coating. These rotors are already clean and the brake pads will "cut back" the friction surface.

Disc Brake Rotor

Sold Individually

Commonly referred to as a Brake Disc or a Brake Rotor, these components play a vital role in your braking system. When applying the brake pedal, this produces hydraulic fluid pressure which then transfers the pressure from the pedal through your braking system and into your brake calipers. The caliper pistons then apply pressure against your brake pads squeezing them inward against your brake rotors ultimately causing friction and stopping the vehicle. Brake rotors are a regular maintenance item which requires either servicing by means of machine work, or most commonly replacement when they become too thin, pulsate, glaze, or grind from worn-out brake pads. It's recommended to replace the brake pads and rotors at the same time.

Excellent rotors
I picked these up because i believed i had a warped front rotor. They were on sale and i was like hey why not. I had previously changed my 325xi brakes to 330xi brakes front and rear and I can actually feel the difference from these rotors and same old pads on my first drive. Definitely better quality and I have more confident braking. Great buy

Great for track days
I have this rotor with hawk dtc60 pads for tracks days. The combo alleviated any desire to get a big brake kit. This is used on my ZHP with nothing stock but the engine.

Great Rotor
Great rotors, went on without issue, look great after the pads have run against them. Make sure you get the BMW rotor screws.
