BMW X-Style Brake Disc Caliper Set (Yellow) - Brembo Xtra FALH32

Brake calipers are the mechanical components that squeeze the brake pads into the brake rotor surface. The brake calipers are controlled via the input from the brake master cylinder. For the most part, brake calipers are simple mechanical devices critical for vehicle safety and performance.

Brake calipers are a lifetime component for the most part. However, brake calipers are exposed to extreme conditions, including heating and cooling cycles, which can cause performance issues later in service life. Brake caliper failures usually occur when the square-cut seal inside the caliper piston bore degrades and causes the piston to stick. A sticking piston or multiple sticking pistons will cause improper caliper performance and can even cause the brake pads to drag on the brake rotor.

Many brake calipers can be repaired with new seals but many prefer to install new brake calipers to save time and to prevent future complications from improper repairs.

The X-Style range of calipers is dedicated to car owners who are passionate and care deeply about all aspects of their vehicle; they are the ideal solution for those who love to customize their car with the elegance of the Brembo aluminum calipers and that touch of originality provided by color.

Brembo X-Style originates directly from the Brembo's experience and know-how accrued with original equipment: hence the new range of fixed aluminum calipers, designed to accommodate the need for customization combined with the fundamental characteristics of quality, reliability, and performance.
