Secures the brake caliper to the wheel hub

This caliper carrier secures the brake caliper to the wheel hub. It also houses the outer brake pad. This particular brake caliper is a common upgrade on E46 M3's to convert from 328mm to 345mm brake rotors.

Disc Brake Caliper Bracket Failure Symptoms
  • Uneven Brake Pad Wear: Sticking guide pins or a bent bracket can cause one pad to wear faster than the other.
  • Brake Noise (Grinding, Squealing, or Clunking): Loose, worn, or damaged bracket hardware can allow the caliper or pads to shift during braking.
  • Vibration or Pulsation When Braking: A misaligned bracket can cause uneven rotor contact.

Is this price for a pair of the bracket or each bracket meaning I'd have to purchase 2 of these in quantity for those wanting to convert to the larger 345mm CP/ CSL brake?
