Front lower ball joint inner from arm to lower sub frame.

Two required per car, one per arms.

Suspension components like ball joints wear out over time and mileage often resulting in poor handling, poor alignment and/or a clunking sound over bumps. Check for excessive play in these bushings and replace as necessary.

My repair manual says the center balljoint is not replaceable which is false! If you can buy a single replacement center balljoint then it's replaceable. With the right tools you can do anything. I replaced my center balljoints on my 97 328is and the new joints feel firm. Highly recommend replacing them along with outer joints.
