An Engine Cooling Fan Switch monitors the engine temperature and controls the operation of the cooling fan, which helps regulate the engine's temperature by drawing air through the radiator. When the engine reaches a specific temperature, the switch activates the cooling fan to help dissipate heat and prevent overheating.

• Overheating Engine: A malfunctioning cooling fan switch may fail to activate the cooling fan, causing the engine to overheat. If the fan doesn’t turn on when needed, the engine temperature can rise dangerously high, potentially leading to serious engine damage
• Constantly Running Cooling Fan: If the switch is stuck in the "on" position, the cooling fan may run continuously, even when the engine is cool. This can lead to unnecessary battery drain and increased wear on the fan motor

About Facet

Facet began in 1946 by Francesco Andriano with the core principles of dedication, skill, courage to do, and to innovate when he opened up his laboratory. Soon after WWII, Franceso Andiano founded F.A.C.E.T with his son Mario. They began creating tungsten contacts for the telephone industry which was then a potential market with rapid growth. Due to the materials used, they were able to enter into another market, now producing plated contacts for ignition components in the Automotive Industry. In 1961 the company expanded by now producing condensers followed by caps and rotors in 1966. Since the early 90's, FACET has transformed to accommodate the arrival of electronics which as been a large part to this day.
