Arnott's design features a unique precision CNC-machined upper cap and bearing assembly crafted from 6061-T6 aluminum. The new aftermarket BMW X5 air spring assembly also includes Arnott's patented (US Patent No. 8,292,306) upper mount and bearing design with a certified weight capacity of more than 100,000 lbs! Arnott's new BMW air springs boast a more comprehensive design providing your X5 with superior strength and handling both on and off road. Comes with new upper mounts. An easy-to-follow, detailed installation manual is available to walk you through the easy assembly process.

Air Suspension Spring

An air suspension spring (also called an air spring or airbag) is a flexible rubber and fabric component used in place of traditional coil springs. It is inflated with compressed air to support the vehicle’s weight and adjust ride height. Air springs are commonly found in luxury cars, SUVs, and heavy-duty vehicles.

Air Suspension Spring Failure Symptoms
  • Vehicle sagging – one corner, one side, or the whole car sits lower than normal.
  • Rough or bouncy ride – loss of cushioning, making the vehicle feel harsh over bumps.
  • Air compressor running constantly – the system tries to compensate for leaking or failed air springs.
