Your engine's air filter sits within the air intake box and traps particles as air flows into the engine. This ensures that only clean air reaches the combustion chamber, which provides optimal engine performance and fuel efficiency and reduces emissions.

• Clogging: Over time, your air filter can become clogged with dirt, dust, and debris, reducing the amount of fresh air that reaches the engine. This can lead to poor engine performance, reduced fuel efficiency, and increased emissions.
• Moisture Contamination: Exposure to excessive moisture, whether from driving in heavy rain or through water, can cause the air filter to become saturated. A wet filter can restrict airflow, further deteriorate over time, and lead to potential engine damage.
