Works great, but not as high quality as OE.
My AC in my '99 Z3 wouldn't hold a charge for more than a few days and I had a lovely little tingly smell coming out of the vents. I decided to fire up the parts cannon and picked up one of these. Wasn't the most fun to install but I did not have to pull the dash, just the glove box and the driver's kick panel. This Rein evaporator works great but is obviously not as sturdy as the original. It's also much louder than my original evaporator but I think that's because it didn't come with new foam insulation and my old stuff just turned to dust. Have a vacuum cleaner ready when you pull the old evaporator as it was disgusting in there. Solved my issue and my air conditioner has been working flawlessly all summer.
