A/C Compressor

The A/C compressor is responsible for providing the system pressure necessary to move refrigerant throughout the A/C system. Without adequate system pressure, the refrigerant will not adequately cool the air in your vehicle's cabin. An A/C system that is not blowing cold air or intermittently blowing cold air can be caused by an A/C compressor. Some simple checks that can be performed before condemning an A/C compressor are, verifying system refrigerant, verifying plausible values from all temperature and pressure sensors, and verifying command signals from the HVAC control unit.

Doesn't fit 2011 E90 LCI 335d
As the other reviewer mentioned, this compressor doesn't fit 2011 E90 LCI 335d, even though customer service verified fitment for my vehicle (with a VIN). I hope FCP can correct their system to prevent future wrong orders.

Wrong part for 2011 E90 LCI 335d
Ordered this part for a 335d E90 LCI, website said yes this will fit, the compressor is the wrong part due to the different type of weather tight connection and the box is labeled “ suitable for: BMW 5-series E60”. If you are looking to replace your a/c compressor check the weather tight connection on your vehicle before ordering. The connection on this compressor is an oval shape type, the connection on the compressor for my car is a wider flatter oval and a 3 terminal slot with one of the inserts plugged with a rubber seal.
