8-piece rear control arm kit to fully restore your X5's rear suspension

If your X5's rear suspension feels a little loose or sloppy it is likely due to worn out components. This control arm kit features all Meyle components and will service all common ear points in the rear axle suspension.

We recommend replacing all of your components if you have in excess of 80K miles and still have original components. We also encourage that you replace your control arm components if you are experiencing the following symptoms:

  • Popping, clunking, or clicking sounds while traveling over bumps or dips in the road
  • A disconnected feeling between the steering wheel and rear end of the car
  • Vehicle is slow to respond to steering inputs
  • Vehicle wanders on the highway or will not drive straight
  • Vehicle cannot be aligned properly due to play in front suspension

2002 BMW X5 3.0L Sport Man 5 Spd
I have the entire history of this car and these parts never were replaced so the OEM parts finally used it's life span. I replaced them with this kit. The original ones lasted 225872 miles. It was a comprehensive job but thanks to a dear friend who runs a repair shop, his tools and knowledge make this job easy. Now this rare Bimmer is sitting well and I trust that these parts will last another 225K miles.
