BMW 370mm / 345mm Brake Upgrade Kit - 34112450469KT2

This kit is similar to the BMW M Performance brake kit, with the exception that it includes Brembo Xtra brake calipers with Brembo logos, and we (FCP Euro) include the rear brake rotors with the kit while keeping the total cost of the brake kit below that of the Genuine BMW kit. Effectively, this is the same kit that BMW sells as an M Performance Brake kit except at a slightly better price point (we include the rear brake rotors in our kit) and we have this kit packaged so there are no leftover parts after installation.

The core of this brake kit is centered around the Brembo Xtra brake calipers that are identical to the BMW M Performance brake calipers but with Brembo branding and (arguably) more neutral color options that don't stand out as much. We have also packaged this brake kit with Zimmermann Z-coated brake rotors. We leave the brake pads up to you because several options fit these brake calipers. A few recommendations are Akenono EUR ceramic pads for clean wheels, Pagid for OE M Performance style brake pads, or Hawk HPS HPS or HPS 5.0 for improved performance:

Front Brake Pads: FMSI D1609 and D1880
Rear Brake Pads: FMSI D1656

Please note: This brake conversion kit is intended to be installed on cars that have the larger rear wheel carrier which utilizes the larger 45X84X41mm wheel bearing / 185mm parking brake support ring. These cars do not require the rear backing plate to be swapped because they come equipped with the larger backing plate capable of fitting the 345mm brake rotor. Only a handful of early production F3X and all F2X cars require swapping of the rear backing plates for installation of the rear brakes. After installation of this kit, the DSC will need to be coded for M Sport Brake (S2NHA) for proper brake bias.
