A vapor canister filter is part of a vehicle’s evaporative emissions control (EVAP) system, designed to filter air entering the charcoal canister. The charcoal canister stores fuel vapors from the fuel tank and later sends them to the engine for combustion, reducing emissions. The vapor canister filter ensures that only clean air passes through the system, preventing dust and debris from contaminating the charcoal and affecting performance.
