Engine Timing Belt Kit

A timing belt kit is a comprehensive set of components used to maintain or replace the timing belt system in a vehicle. The timing belt itself is a reinforced rubber belt that synchronizes the rotation of the crankshaft and camshaft, ensuring the engine's valves open and close at the proper times.

Engine Timing Belt Kit Failure Symptoms
  • Engine Misfiring: A worn or damaged timing belt can slip, causing the engine's timing to become inaccurate and leading to misfires
  • Ticking or Clicking Noise from the Engine: A failing timing belt or tensioner may produce unusual ticking sounds due to improper tension or wear
  • Difficulty Starting or No-Start Condition: If the timing belt breaks, the engine cannot operate, resulting in a no-start condition

About NTN

The NTN Company started when backer, Noboru Niwa, sales company, Tomoe Trading Co., and engineer Jiro Nishizono joined together in designing and manufacturing the first NTN ball bearings, in 1918. Many years later the new head of NTN insisted that manufacturing be located within the same market as it was sold, thus NTN Bearing Corporation of America was created in 1963. Today NTN is proficient in the production of ball bearings, spherical, tapered, cylindrical, needle roller bearings, and automotive constant velocity joints. In fact NTN has the largest share of the global market for axle bearings and is a trusted supplier of OEM (original equipment manufacturer) bearings to many of today’s car manufacturers. NTN’s devotion to high standards has earned the company numerous awards for quality from clients, such as, Caterpillar, Ford Motor Company, Detroit Diesel, Navistar International Corporation, Twin Disc, and Clark-Hurth. Presently, NTN is operating in over 50 facilities globally and is the third largest bearing producer, in the world.

Broken pulleys
Ordered this for my Audi, once everything was on the belt tensioners all broke. Massive belt slap. I had to do the timing twice because of this.

Great Parts and Great Shipping
This kit is loaded with good parts from A tier companies. The only thing I would suggest is that it came with a new crankshaft bolt since you need to remove it to replace the crankshaft seal and, it is a torque to yield bolt and should be replaced whenever removed. Other than that this is an awesome kit that I used to do the timing belt on my B5 S4.
