No pressing in new bushings - these arms arrive fully assembled with pre-installed SuperPro bushings and new ball joints.
We've worked hard to make these a huge bang-for-the-buck upgrade with fully upgraded and outfitted arms offering a front end refresh for your ride!
Control arms are crucial link in a vehicle's suspension connecting the suspension to a vehicle's subframe. These pieces are usually hinged to allow for suspension to travel and articulate as the vehicle rides over obstructions in the road and while the vehicle turns. Many vehicles such as those with independent suspensions have multiple links and feature several connection points and arms to offer better ride quality and comfort.
As bushings and joints in a control arm begin to wear you may notice a looseness feel in your suspension. And while many arms have replaceable and serviceable individual components, many still require the replacement of the entire arm. Below are signs of when a replacement control arm may be needed:
Suspension Control Arm Failure Symptoms- Play in suspension joints where these arms meet the subframe and/or knuckle
- Buckling noise emanating from the suspension
- Uneven tire wear
- Inability to properly align vehicle
- Shutter or vibration coming from the steering wheel at highway speed
- Wandering or pulling sensation from side to side felt on the steering wheel

This will be to second time I’ve run these control arms, I have ~240,000 miles on a 2018 MK7.5 Golf R, and I can’t say enough good things about this kit! They’re OEM arms with upgraded bushings and their uprated ball joints, so you’re getting the parts you want upgraded without having to pay for somebody to press in new bushings/ball joints while costing less than getting OEM replacement control arms…seems too good to be true! I emailed Superpro years ago when these first came out before putting them on the first time, because you’re saving $100+ per arm even if you were to buy an OEM supplier BUT we get the upgraded bushings and ball joints their response made me want to support them even more…basically they said that the VW MK7 community has been extremely supportive of their company and products, and that this was their “gift” back to us for supporting Superpro for so many years. How could you not love a company that does that?! Bottom line these last a long time, they feel better than stock, and saves a couple hundred bucks which we can all use on more go fast parts for our cars!

Are these the latest version of the duroball poly bushings? I've heard there were problems with the original one. Are the ball joints original VW type and are the guaranteed to not fail quickly?

Do not know of any updates to these ball joints, they do not look poly but appear to be a standard rubber joint ball joint.

What kind of bushings do these arms have? Are they they stock steel type?
