Iridium! Long Lasting Cold Plugs
These are great plugs used on a variety of vehicles and look great after 100k miles! I know, I did the experiment. However, if you have a high performance vehicle or a predilection for performance, Iridium plugs or platinum for that matter, are not appropriate. Less expensive nickle platted copper core plugs run hotter, for a more efficient burn which your computer will pick up on and advance timing for more power. However, they will wear quickly, likely requiring 20k replacement intervals. They may also require mid life regap. Colder plugs that last longest like these, result in a less efficient burn the computer auto adjusts timing retarded to compensate reducing horsepower. You likely won't notice. Its a small adjustment to correct the air fuel mixture. If its easy for you to change your plugs, you might consider the excellent nickle copper core plugs offered from this website because they have a lifetime warranty! If its hell to remove the plugs and you don't care about high performance these plugs will serve you for up to 150k miles. I know, I did that experiment also. Iridium plating on these particular plugs just doesn't wear off.
