What you need to keep the original smooth ride
I bought this kit for my 2009 A6 Avant because it complements the original springs allowing me to retain the smooth ride and control the wagon is known for (had my share of rock hard cars in the city!). I installed these struts at the same time I installed the Meyle HD control arm kit (KIT-4F0407693HKT3) and it's like a new car. You'll reuse the lower spring perch rubber and bottom bolt. Replacement nut and washer is included.
