The reservoir maintains an adequate level of fluid to ensure the power steering pump has a constant supply, helping to reduce friction and keep the system lubricated.

• Low Power Steering Fluid Level: If there’s a leak in the reservoir, fluid levels will drop. Low fluid levels make steering harder and can cause damage to other components like the power steering pump
