Product Information

The intake manifold potentiometer, also referred to as the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor, is a vital electronic component in modern fuel-injected engines. It is responsible for measuring the amount of air pressure inside the intake manifold and relaying this information to the engine control unit (ECU).

The potentiometer consists of a sensor housing, a diaphragm, and a set of connecting wires.

He began his career in the 1970s working for Wulf Gaertner and in the 1990s eventually branched out on his own to start his own sales repping agency.
