Parking Aid Sensor Bracket

A Parking Aid Sensor, also known as a Parking Sensor or Proximity Sensor, is a device installed in a vehicle's bumper or surrounding areas to assist with parking. These sensors use ultrasonic or electromagnetic technology to detect objects and obstacles around the vehicle, providing alerts to the driver via audible sounds or visual indicators. They help prevent accidents, such as backing into objects or people, by alerting the driver to nearby obstacles while parking.

Parking Aid Sensor Bracket Failure Symptoms
  • Non-Functioning Sensors: The most obvious symptom of a faulty parking aid sensor is that it doesn't respond when the vehicle approaches an obstacle. This can be due to a damaged or malfunctioning sensor, causing it to stop detecting objects or issuing alerts
  • Continuous Beeping: If a sensor is malfunctioning, it may produce a constant beeping sound, regardless of whether there are obstacles nearby. This could be caused by a sensor being dirty, damaged, or having a wiring issue
