Quick instructions on what I did for those who care to read, do at your own risk, etc etc, and be sure to read mfg instructions watch their you tube videos, etc etc. Set car to highest setting (off-road I think, I actually missed this step but based on what I found afterward it likely would have helped a bit..) and then go to maintenance/service settings and select wheel change mode or the like. Lift up a corner, I did the work one wheel at a time, use appropriate jack stands etc for safety. I did not remove the front wheels but had to lie down to access the parts.. but I did remove rear wheels for easier access to do the swap. My car is a 2024 q8 etron s line premium plus. Pop off the old/stock part, start by matching/adjusting the length of the new part to the stock part THEN adjust the new ones to where you want them and snug up the locking nuts (I'd do both sides/parts at the same time so they are the same length left and right). Next pop the included rubber grommet/dust cap to the car side of each ball joint, be careful they are like little rubber bands and can shoot off and get lost, I got lucky and found the one I did this with... a little grease or wd40 might ease this step. Remove the locking pin from the new part (note which side has the pinhole, little buggers are a pain to reinsert) install on the car, pop in locking pins, lower car, repeat on next corner/wheel until your done with all 4 corners. Unclick tire change mode.. adjust to different heights/drive modes to see the difference, enjoy the new ride height. Remember, after being jacked up the car likely won't sit straight until you release the e-brake/parking brake and go around the block... Do this before you have a heart attack that the cars crooked. Notes: Long parts go in rear, short in front. Add length to rear to lower stance, subtract length from front to lower stance. Save the stock parts to undue the modification later if needed. After you pop off the stocks from one side, If memory serves, I did 10cm shorter in front and 10cm more in rear and ended with 1" lower in front and 1.5" lower in rear resulting in lowering from a stock height of 32" front and 32.5" rear in dynamic mode (measuring floor to top of fender arch at the center line of wheel) to just about 31" all around. This mod should result in the same height difference in each of the cars driving modes/setting.. in other words: all the settings will still be the same amount higher/lower than each other as before the mod, with the DIFFERENCE in height from the mod applying.. or in my case 1" lower in each setting up front and 1.5" lower in each setting in rear. Basically these attach from the lower control arm to a sensor that tells the car's computer the height of that corner.. the new parts twist shorter or longer to trick the ECU into thinking the car is higher than it is so the suspension lowers itself to what it thinks is the desired height setting.
