An interior grab bar (also called an assist handle) is a component commonly found inside vehicles, especially above the doors, on the A-pillar, B-pillar, or roof area. Its main purpose is to provide passengers with extra stability and support when entering or exiting the vehicle, or while the vehicle is in motion. These bars are typically made of durable plastic, metal, or reinforced composite materials and are anchored securely to the vehicle’s frame or trim.

• Loose or Wobbly Fitment – The grab bar moves, rattles, or feels unstable when pulled, often due to worn or broken mounting clips or screws.
• Cracks or Visible Damage – The handle shows cracks, discoloration, or deformation, reducing both strength and appearance.
• Noises or Detachment – Creaking, squeaking, or, in severe cases, partial/complete detachment when used, making it unsafe for support.
