Product Information
Genuine Audi Air Freshener - Gecko | Red
Add a co-pilot to your Audi for those long road trips with a docile and curious companion. Although most geckos are arboreal, this friendly gecko will spend most...all of it's time on the fins of the air vent. This gecko air freshener has a pleasant floral herbal fragrance lasting approximately 45 days.
Furthermore, did you know that the Audi gecko is a symbolic representation of the Audi Quattro permanent all-wheel drive? The Audi gecko has been around since 2005, debuting in the all-wheel drive system's 25th anniversary. Both the Audi gecko and all-wheel drive system are believe to possess similar traits, their legendary grip system. Once the gecko scents are empty, simply keep it as a great decorative Audi souvenir.
- For fitting on fins of air vents in vehicle
- The product should not be exposed to temperatures above 185 °F
- The fragrance is initially very intensive, but this decreases over time. The fragrance intensity is also dependent on the temperature in the vehicle and the setting of the vent blower.
- Caution: The gecko air freshener is not a toy!
- Caution: Certain areas of the vehicle can quickly exceed temperatures of 185 °F (e.g. dash panel, air vents etc.) during intensive sunlight.
About Genuine Audi
The original parts used by Audi to build your car are available as replacement parts under the “Genuine Audi” brand. Manufactured under the direction of Audi, expect excellent quality and a premium price since these parts are available exclusively through the Audi Dealership network.
You may not realize this, but the parts that make up your Audi are not necessarily manufactured by Audi. No cause for concern, as Audi designs the part, hires a manufacturer, and ensures its quality to you. In fact, many of these manufacturers have been making parts for Audi for decades. In our industry these manufacturers are called OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers), and these are often brands you recognize, including Lemforder, ZF, Sachs, Bosch, Valeo, Zimmermann, Siemens VDO, Corteco, and more. Don’t be surprised to open that Genuine Audi parts box and find an OEM branded part inside, simply with the addition of an Audi logo.
Be sure to keep an eye out for OE tags on our product pages to quickly identify parts coming direct from OE manufacturers. That extra bit of insight could save you some serious money while shopping! Refer to our OE Academy for further information regarding the OE/OEM tags throughout the site.
