Fuel Pump Module Assembly

A fuel pump module assembly is a complete unit, typically located inside the fuel tank, that delivers pressurized fuel to the engine. Unlike a standalone fuel pump, the module will sometimes include:

  • Electric fuel pump – draws and pressurizes fuel.
  • Fuel filter/strainer – removes debris and contaminants.
  • Fuel pressure regulator – maintains consistent fuel pressure.
  • Fuel level sending unit – communicates fuel level to the gauge.

I just purchased and received Audi 8E0906087R electric fuel pump. Why are all of the audi rings embossed on the part machine ground off? Is this a re-manufactured part? Why is it in a generic box and not a VDO box?

Hello, I'm showing that this is a new pump that comes directly from an Audi/VW dealer network. The logos are sometimes ground off due to licensing agreements but it is in fact a Genuine part.
