Suspension Control Arm Kit

Control arms are crucial link in a vehicle's suspension connecting the suspension to a vehicle's subframe. These pieces are usually hinged to allow for suspension to travel and articulate as the vehicle rides over obstructions in the road and while the vehicle turns. Good kit but verify the pinch bolts
I installed this kit on my 2009 A6 Avant. As the pinch bolt has a tendency to "weld" itself to the knuckle, part of my annual service is to check the bolt. On removing the pinch bolt, I discovered the supplied bolt is shorter (roughly an M10x105) than the Audi bolt which meant that the threaded portion of the bolt, rather than the shank, was in the rear upper control arm joint detent. This allowed for some movement the joint (the threads were "bunged" in this area of the bolt). In my case, it may have been a packing mistake but do check the bolts before assembly. The correct bolt size is M10x110x21 (part# N-104-918-02). This issue aside (cost a star), I love the kit. It restored the front end sure-footedness and eliminated the front suspension clunks.
