Product Information

Welcome to the mothership of 3.0T exhausts. Our 3.0T exhaust system represents the most comprehensive exhaust development project in our company history. The 3.0T systems have paved the way for future exhaust technologies that can now be found in most every AWE exhaust product. AWE spent considerable time and effort during development to achieve remarkable civility when idling and at part throttle cruising, while also producing a war-cry wail when full throttle is applied. Handcrafted in-house, these systems command respect while remaining sophisticated, refined, and powerful, all at once. Handcrafted, every detail drives toward maximum performance, quality and perfect sound. Notes: In limited cases, the factory downpipes have been known to emit minor rattling noises when paired with the AWE S4 exhaust system. The possibility of rattling is eliminated with the addition of AWE downpipes. Please Note: This product is 50 State Legal.

Exhaust System Kit

An exhaust system kit is a complete set of components designed to route and treat engine exhaust gases before releasing them into the atmosphere. It typically includes pipes, mufflers, resonators, catalytic converters, clamps, and hangers. The system reduces harmful emissions, minimizes noise, and directs hot exhaust gases safely away from the engine and cabin. Aftermarket kits may also improve performance and efficiency by optimizing exhaust flow.

Exhaust System Kit Failure Symptoms
  • Loud or unusual noises such as rumbling or hissing from leaks or damaged parts.
  • Decreased engine performance or fuel efficiency due to restricted or leaking flow.
  • Strong exhaust odors inside or around the vehicle, indicating leaks or faulty sealing.

Awful drone at highway speeds
After reading many reviews, this seemed to be the best sounding exhaust for the B8.5 S5. It sounds great in the upper rev range, but at normal driving, especially at partial load uphill, or at steady speed on the highway (~2K RPM), the droning is becoming unbearable. I don't know if this is a defect or if it doesn't play well with stock downpipes. Awaiting for a response from AWE.

5/5 Highly Recommend!
Before purchasing this exhaust I did extensive research before finally pulling the trigger and I couldn't be happier after having this exhaust for around 500 miles so far it's not even fully broken in. I was on the fence between the Touring and the Track but I'm glad I decided to go with the Touring. In comfort mode it's not too loud and doesn't drone but it definitely is noticeable in comparison to the stock exhaust. When you put it in Dynamic mode or use the paddle shifters it's a very nice aggressive noise especially with the downshifts. I've gotten many compliments from strangers on this exhaust and am glad I decided to go with the 102mm tips as opposed to the 90mm tips they're the perfect size in my opinion especially if you decide to get an aftermarket diffuser it really compliments the car well.
