A back glass wiper motor is the electric motor that powers the rear windshield wiper on hatchbacks, SUVs, and some wagons. It drives the wiper arm back and forth across the rear glass to clear rain, snow, or dirt, ensuring good visibility through the rear window. The motor is usually mounted inside the tailgate or hatch and works in sync with the wiper switch and washer system.

• Rear wiper not moving at all, often due to a burned-out motor or internal electrical fault.
• Slow, intermittent, or stuck movement, caused by a weak or failing motor.
