Product Information

AWE Exhaust System Kit - Downpipe-Back

The AWE Audi A6 Touring Edition Exhaust features AWE's patented drone-canceling solution, 180 Technology® to combat drone at cruising speeds. Drop the hammer and the 3.0T will sing. The Touring Edition comes in a dual outlet configuration, featuring 102mm slash-cut tips on each side of the vehicle, designed to work with the factory rear valance. The tips are double walled to ensure a mirror finish even under hard usage. Each tip is individually adjustable, so stagger and depth into bumper can be set according to personal taste. The Resonated Downpipes (available separately) The AWE Resonated Downpipes feature resonators larger than the stock units in order to produce a mellow sound volume. Our Resonated Downpipes feature larger than stock tubing diameter. Bonus. Note: For those looking for the ultimate drone-free experience, we recommend pairing the Resonated Downpipes to the Touring Edition Exhaust. Please Note: This product is 50 State Legal.

Exhaust System Kit

An exhaust system kit is a complete set of components designed to route and treat engine exhaust gases before releasing them into the atmosphere. It typically includes pipes, mufflers, resonators, catalytic converters, clamps, and hangers. The system reduces harmful emissions, minimizes noise, and directs hot exhaust gases safely away from the engine and cabin. Aftermarket kits may also improve performance and efficiency by optimizing exhaust flow.

Exhaust System Kit Failure Symptoms
  • Loud or unusual noises such as rumbling or hissing from leaks or damaged parts.
  • Decreased engine performance or fuel efficiency due to restricted or leaking flow.
  • Strong exhaust odors inside or around the vehicle, indicating leaks or faulty sealing.
